Jeanette Quarterbosh, of Little Falls, N.J. departed us on Friday, May 31, 2024, at the age of 97.
Born in Jersey City to John and Rose (nee Amoroso) Stinziano, she was raised in Jersey City, would later move to Texas, before eventually settling in Little Falls over 45 years ago. Jeanette spent her professional life as a secretary in the financial sector, working for various companies. She was a devout parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Angels Church in Little Falls. Having a zest for life, she enjoyed many passions. She loved to cook, and her kitchen was always filled with the delightful aroma of home-cooked meals. She enjoyed traveling, spending time at the casinos playing slot machines, and loved decorating her home for every holiday. Coffee was one of her simple pleasures, and she often welcomed friends and her great neighbors to her home with a warm cup. Jeanette is survived by her dear siblings, Joseph Stinziano and his wife, Ellen of Oak Park, IL and Dennis Stinziano and his wife, Patricia of Cooper City, FL, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband of 71 years, Gabriel “Gabe” Quarterbosh, and four dear sisters and two dear brothers Theresa Sucato, Anna Kachnowski, Rosemary Falcone, Dominick Stinziano, Josephine Lombardi and John Stinziano. A Funeral Mass to celebrate Jeanette’s life will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Angels Church, Little Falls. Kindly gather directly at church. Interment will follow at Bloomfield Cemetery, 383 Belleville Ave., Bloomfield, N.J.
